The best plumbing service we have ever encountered. The technicians are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The rate are also reasonable. We are definitely recommend to all our friends and family.
Brett came to fix my leaky pipe in basement and it was a great experience! He was quick, personable and gave me an amazing deal! No mess was left behind and the customer service was great. Would highly recommend Kingstree plumbing and will definitely be using them again in the future!
Can’t say enough about the service i just received from Dane at Kingstree! I never give five stars these days, but i have too here. I have been in the service industry my entire working career and have watched as bean counters have whittled away from service to increase bottom-line profits. It is very hard to find service out there these days so when i find it i have to say something. Very professional, educational, clean, thorough, gives suggestions and makes recommendations when asked. I like to test service people due to many businesses hiring inexperienced, cheap labour folks yet charge the same rate as would for the experienced guy. Once again, this guy was exceptional. Well done, Kingstree! Everyone in my circle will know about your service once again and you will get my future business.
Thank you
Brett is very personable and thorough. They replaced my hot water tank the same day as they were called. Plumbing was all checked out , very neat and no mess left behind. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. Prices are reasonable as well.

Yes. Heating service is not limited to one type of system. Homes and businesses may need inspections, repairs, seasonal servicing, or replacement planning for furnaces, boilers, and related heating equipment, and it is important to look at the full system rather than only one component.
That depends on the age of the unit, the type of failure, repair history, and overall efficiency. When a furnace is still in decent condition, repair may make sense, but repeated breakdowns or major component problems often make replacement the smarter long-term option.
Common warning signs include no heat, uneven heating, pressure problems, leaks, unusual noises, and a boiler that starts cycling irregularly. Boilers often show smaller symptoms before a full failure, so early diagnosis is usually the best way to avoid a bigger heating outage.
Homes built in the 1980s and 1990s are the most likely to have it, but the best way to know for sure is to have the piping inspected. Poly-B is usually grey and can often be found near the water heater, under sinks, or where exposed plumbing is visible in utility spaces and basements.
That depends on the age of the system, the location of the problem, and how much Poly-B remains in the home. In some cases a targeted repair can buy time, but many homeowners choose full repiping when the piping is aging throughout the property and leak risk is higher in multiple areas.
Poly-B, or polybutylene piping, was installed in many homes years ago but is now widely known for leak risk as it ages. Homeowners often choose replacement because they want to reduce the chance of hidden leaks, water damage, and larger plumbing failures later on.
A conventional water heater often lasts around 8 to 12 years, although maintenance, water quality, and usage all affect lifespan. If the unit is getting older and repairs are becoming more frequent, replacement is often the better long-term investment.
Yes. Tankless systems still need maintenance, repairs, and occasional replacement just like traditional units. If your tankless water heater is showing error codes, running inconsistently, or not producing reliable hot water, it is worth having it checked before the problem gets worse.
A water heater can stop working because of thermostat problems, heating element failure, sediment buildup, a tripped power source, or a more serious internal issue. The fastest way to avoid wasted time and unnecessary parts is to have the system inspected properly so the actual cause can be identified.
Common warning signs include inconsistent hot water, leaks around the tank, popping or rumbling noises, rusty water, or a unit that struggles to keep up with normal demand. In many cases a repair can solve the problem, but older systems or leaking tanks may be better candidates for replacement. A proper diagnosis helps you make the right call instead of guessing.
Yes. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to cut through heavy buildup inside drain and sewer lines. It is often a strong option when standard drain cleaning is not enough, especially for grease, sludge, or recurring blockages that keep coming back.
Yes. Recurring clogs, sewer odours, and water backing up are signs that the issue may be deeper in the drain or sewer system. In those cases, the next step is often a proper inspection to find out whether the problem is grease buildup, roots, a damaged pipe, or a larger sewer line issue.
For many homes, every one to two years is a smart baseline, especially if the plumbing is older or the home has a history of clogs. Homes with large families, heavy kitchen use, or recurring drainage problems may need more frequent service. Preventive cleaning is usually much easier and less stressful than dealing with a full blockage.
Slow drains, frequent clogs, bad smells coming from sinks or tubs, and gurgling sounds in the pipes are all common warning signs. If you keep dealing with the same blockage over and over, the problem is usually deeper in the line than a basic store-bought solution can reach. Professional drain cleaning helps remove buildup properly and restore normal flow.
Yes. Emergency plumbing work often includes burst pipes, major leaks, blocked drains, overflowing toilets, and sudden loss of hot water. These issues can escalate quickly, so the safest approach is to shut off water if possible and contact a professional right away.
Response time depends on call volume, weather, and where the emergency is happening, but urgent plumbing calls are always prioritized. When a customer is dealing with a burst pipe, sewer backup, or major leak, the goal is to respond quickly enough to limit damage and get the plumbing system under control.
A plumbing emergency is any problem that can quickly damage your home, create a safety issue, or make the plumbing system unusable. Common examples include burst pipes, major leaks, overflowing toilets, sewage backup, no running water, or a blocked drain causing water to back up into the home. In situations like that, it is best to get help as quickly as possible.
A lot of plumbing problems can be prevented with regular maintenance and early attention to small warning signs. Avoid pouring grease down drains, watch for slow drainage, check for hidden leaks around fixtures, and have your plumbing system inspected if you notice pressure changes, unusual sounds, or recurring issues. A professional inspection can catch small problems before they turn into costly repairs.
The cost depends on the type of work, the complexity of the repair, and whether parts or replacement materials are needed. Smaller jobs like fixing a leak or replacing a fixture are usually much more straightforward than larger repairs involving drains, sewer lines, or water heaters. The best way to get an accurate number is to have the issue assessed properly and quoted before work begins.

That’s why we offer emergency drain cleaning services, ready to respond to your call day or night. Our team is equipped to handle urgent issues promptly, minimizing damage and inconvenience with fast, effective solutions.
Several indicators suggest the need for professional drain cleaning. Slow drainage is a clear sign, along with consistent unpleasant odors emanating from your drains. If you hear gurgling sounds after running water or notice water pooling around floor drains, these are also indications of potential blockages. It’s best to address these issues promptly to avoid more serious plumbing problems.
The frequency of professional drain cleaning varies depending on usage and other factors like the age of your plumbing system. Typically, we recommend an annual service for most homes. This proactive approach helps in identifying potential problems early, prevents unpleasant surprises like major clogs or backups, and extends the life of your plumbing system.
At Kingstree Plumbing, our approach combines the latest technology with traditional know-how. Our team is trained in various techniques, from simple snaking to advanced hydro-jetting, tailoring our services to your specific needs.
